CHANGELOG
What's New
Latest updates, new features, and improvements to Fair Price Index.
Version 1.3 of the Fair Price Index app has been submitted to both stores. The release brings full dark mode support — switch between light and dark theme in Settings, with your preference saved automatically across sessions.
The app now supports a full dark mode with the terminal-grade aesthetic the platform is built on — deep blacks, muted borders, and green accents. Toggle it in Settings. Preference is persisted locally and restored on every app launch.
Version 1.2 of the Fair Price Index app has been submitted to both stores. The release brings Margin of Safety analysis and P/E Ratio History with sector comparison to every stock detail screen, plus refined typography and improved valuation accuracy.
The mobile app now features the full Margin of Safety section with conservative entry level visualization. Three reference points — entry, fair price, and market price — plotted on a number line, with safety margin, entry level, and distance metrics. Brings the same Benjamin Graham-style risk framework that's been on the website to every stock detail screen in the app.
Interactive chart on every stock detail screen showing the stock's P/E ratio against the sector average over time. Tap any point to inspect historical values. Premium or discount to sector is computed dynamically and color-coded.
Sector P/E history calculations now filter out implausible values (P/E below 0 or above 200) before computing the daily sector average. Previously, a single extreme outlier like a stock with P/E above 2,000 could swing the entire sector average by 10+ points overnight. The fix applies universally across all 11 sectors.
Added legal entity information across the site. About page now includes a dedicated Legal Entity section with company registry details. Footer displays operator information.
Version 1.1 of the Fair Price Index app has been approved by both Apple and Google and is now available to download. The headline feature is the FPI Rating — a 0-10 quality score for every stock — now displayed on every stock detail screen, alongside refined typography to match the website and a cleaner notification settings panel.
Version 1.1 of the Fair Price Index app has been submitted to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The release brings the FPI Rating to every stock detail screen, refined typography to match the website redesign, and a cleaner notification settings panel. Stocks where our model abstains (e.g. early-stage biotech, recent IPOs) now load with a clear pending state instead of failing.
The proprietary 0-10 company quality score is now displayed directly on every stock detail page. The full ring visualization, plain-English verdict, and methodology link bring the same depth of analysis previously seen only in the dedicated methodology section to the entire 37,000+ stock catalogue.
Replaced display serif headlines with a refined sans-serif system based on user feedback. The result is a cleaner terminal aesthetic, improved legibility on data-heavy pages, and a more cohesive feel across all 37,000+ stock pages, education articles, calculators, and methodology content.
Stocks where our valuation model abstains (e.g. early-stage biotech, recently IPO'd companies, or specialty financials) previously returned 404. They now render a clean overview page with market price, available metrics, and an explanation of why fair value is pending. Also added a sanity guard to filter out implausible fair price outputs.
After months of development, the Fair Price Index app is officially approved and available on both iOS and Android. Real-time push notifications when fair prices shift, watchlist sync across devices, and full access to 37,000+ stock valuations on the go.
Replaced 'Coming Soon' placeholders with functional App Store and Google Play badges on the homepage hero, the dedicated download section, and all 37,000+ stock detail pages. Added a 'Get the App' button to the navbar for persistent access. Also removed the redundant 'Key Facts' section from stock pages to keep the focus on valuation data.
New chart on stock detail pages showing the stock's P/E ratio over time against the sector average. Built on 10+ days of daily P/E data collected via Supabase cron across all tracked tickers, with sector averages computed server-side via a PostgreSQL function.
Redesigned 'The Model' section with classified terminal aesthetic — animated data flow pipeline, three independent valuation layers with pulsing indicators, convergence point, and keyword tags. Scroll-triggered animations.
Stock cards redesigned as terminal data feed with header bars, coord labels, status indicators, and 5-zone gauge bars. Daily random rotation of 6 stocks from 15 tracked.
New 'By Region' section on the Market Index page with a real world map showing US vs Europe median valuation, pulse indicators, glow effects, and spread comparison. Built from Natural Earth 110m geodata.
Daily snapshot now covers 1,020 stocks across 11 sectors (up from 300). Sector and regional medians are significantly more robust. Exchange data now tracked for US/EU breakdown.
Redesigned footer with a system status bar, organized columns (Brand / Navigate / Info / Connect), social links (X, LinkedIn, Bulios), and a 'Built with data, not opinions' tagline. Consistent with the Bloomberg/Palantir terminal aesthetic across the site.
Download a branded image of the current market index with hero value, 8-day trend chart with period average, and most overvalued/undervalued sectors. Perfect for social media sharing.
Dynamic page title and hero headline based on current market status. Five-zone valuation scale (overvalued / slightly overvalued / near fair value / slightly undervalued / undervalued) for finer market tracking. Expanded gauge bar gradient with matching colors throughout the page.
New page showing median market valuation across 300 stocks with gauge bar, trend chart, sector breakdown, and daily updates. Powered by Supabase price history data.
Colored market price line (red for downside, green for upside, amber for fair), dashed neutral fair price line, contextual commentary box with period average, and consistent section styling matching Margin of Safety.
Automated daily collection of P/E ratio, sector, and industry data for all 300 tracked stocks via new cron job running at 02:30 UTC.
